Your Ideal Pocket Monster Tales: Z-A Super Form According to the Zodiac Sign

This comeback of Mega Evolutions in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has sparked immense enthusiasm within the fandom. Starting with the gradual unveiling of fresh additions before the title's release, to trainers developing firm views on the full lineup of Mega Evolutions, there's a lot for fans to look forward to.

With many of the Super Forms boasting distinctive appearances that emphasize their personalities, one thought came to mind: What's the best way to connect this with zodiac signs? This list is inspired by a mix of vibes, common zodiac traits, and personal experience.

Aries – Super Camerupt

To be truthful, Houndour's evolution was almost selected for Aries, as they are the Mega Pokémon and astrological sign that evoke the most fear. However, a Mega Houndoom comes across as constantly angry, which isn't typical of the Ram's energy, known for being fun, light-hearted, and impulsive. This makes Aries far more akin to Super Camerupt, which solely spews lava when provoked. Stay on the friendly side of both and enjoy a strong partner; if you cross them, prepare to face the consequences.

Taurus – Super Heracross

Similar to a loyal Bull, the steadfast Heracross species, whether in its standard and Super Form, has aided numerous players in Legends: Z-A. Though dependable, each the Pokémon and a Taurus are still battle-oriented, and – be it their companion or a firm belief – will defend their position to the end. What about Mega Heracross that recalls most of my Bull-sign companions, however, is its unashamed passion for snacks. Many previous Pokédex entries note their fondness for tasty sap and how it employs its horn to hoard it everything, which is pure Bull-sign vibe.

The Twins – Mega Medicham

Look at this total royalty. You cannot tell me this creature is not the life of every party, offering an endless stream of chatter to those who wants to listen. Much like an enrapturing, gregarious Gemini, it's incredibly easy to envision Mega Medicham captivating an entire open area with their tales. This Pokémon's official description also mentions its ability to foresee an opponent's next moves, which sounds quite like a people-smart Gemini.

Cancer – Mega Manectric

The Crab is commonly considered as the most emotional member of the astrological wheel, a passionate sign famous for frequently getting absorbed in their feelings. Per the Pokédex, Mega Evolution fills the creature with a “tremendous amount of energy, but it's too much for Manectric to completely control,” which seems a lot like a typical Cancer crash-out. It is also recognized for its capability to create a thundercloud over its own head – and if there’s a single trait a Crab is going to do, it’s rain on their own parade.

The Lion – Mega Starmie

Oh, did you assume I was planning to pick Pyroar for the lion of the stars? Besides the fact that it would be much too obvious, Leo is obviously Super Starmie, the diva whose gams just went viral for being extremely fabulous (or terrifying, depending on your taste). Fans were captivated from the violet sea star, and that’s exactly the identical vibe a Lion brings to the table. This Pokémon is also said to be transmitting signals from its center out into the cosmos, and it’s just like a Lion to be putting on a show, even if for aliens.

Virgo – Super Victreebel

The ever-prepared and constantly-worried Maiden is ideally represented in Super Victreebel, the Super Form with perpetual acid reflux. The zodiac symbol famous for being charmingly critical is clearly reflected throughout this Pokémon’s entire lineage, from a always shocked expression like a Maiden when you inform them you lack a 401(k), to its upside-down face that’s similar to the emoji a Virgo sends to the group chat when all says they want to “be spontaneous” instead of creating a strategy.

The Scales – Mega Audino

Observe this gentle, sensitive being, who uses the sensors on its ears to tell how people are emotionally by their pulse. Always empathetic – occasionally to a detriment – and striving to maintain the peace, there are numerous Scales who would probably benefit from Mega Audino’s abilities. Though, let’s be honest, it would likely just cause them to worry more about others.

Scorpio – Super Banette

This Ghost-type is a creature with a surprisingly tragic origin: Discarded as a doll, it gained sentient through pure hatred and swore revenge on its former owner. According to the Pokédex, Mega Evolution, “enhances its vindictiveness.” That sounds precisely like several discussions I’ve had with my intense Scorpion friends. A Scorpio adores karma and comeuppance, making them the ideal pair with Super Banette.

The Archer – Super Hawlucha

Both Super Hawlucha and Sagittarians are always putting on a performance. As a Sagittarius personally, the number of occasions I’ve called myself some variation of a “silly small entertainer” is innumerable. The most flamboyant and most attention-seeking Super Form, its description even mentions how it “poses to show off its power.” I would do the very same thing if I had some kind of Super Form, making Mega Hawlucha the most apt Sagittarius counterpart I can think of.

Capricorn – Super Absol

Did you know that a Mega Absol has the ability to foresee calamities ahead of time? That exudes the exact same energy as a Goat, who tends to always think they’re correct. The thing is, much like a prophetic Super Absol, they often are. It’s also the very initial Mega Evolution that trainers encounter in Legends: Z-A – just like a Capricorn to get in on the beginning of the Super Form craze.

Aquarius – Mega Chandelure

Detached air sign Water Bearer is possibly the non-flame sign that is most like a flame symbol – its counterpart is Leo, and there are countless memes about Sagittarius and Water Bearer being chaotic accomplices. Super Chandelure's dual Ghost/Fire category matches seamlessly with this, and the Mega’s general daunting aura is also extremely Aquarius. If you hadn't yet persuaded, the Mega’s Pokédex entry says it “draws in hatred and transforms it into strength.” If that fails to perfectly {encaps
