19 of the Russian's twenty-one victories have been won on hardcourt
A comeback the Russian player secured his maiden championship for over two years with a win over Frenchman Moutet in the Almaty Open final.
The Russian, a ex- top-ranked player, has experienced a difficult period, achieving just one win at the Grand Slams and suffering a meltdown at the American major.
The player's unpredictability on the professional circuit - and issues with his serve in especial - led to him dropping out of the world's top 10 and eventually splitting with long-time coach Gilles Cervara.
Currently collaborating with Thomas Johansson and Goetzke, the tennis star has steadily advanced in the last few weeks - culminating in a closely contested competitive win over opponent Corentin Moutet.
It is the player's initial title after the Italian tournament and first on a hard court after March of the previous year.
Victory also signifies he has achieved 21 titles at twenty-one various tournaments.
"It's the first time I'm at a tournament with my children at once, so to win a title is particularly special," said ranked player Medvedev.
"This victory is in honour of my child my daughter, because the first title I got when my child Alisa was born was for her."
Medvedev, the 2021 US Open champion, had lost his last six championship matches, including in that event in the past months.
Medvedev's counter-punching play style and regular reactions on the tennis court had caused observers to doubt if his ability to compete at the top level was finished.
But the player has made changes in recent weeks, attempting to come to the net and play positively, backed up by an better serve.
Medvedev recovered from a deficit in the opening set against the difficult opponent, winning 4 of the last five exchanges to gain the advantage.
The pair exchanged break points in the second set before the challenger, attempting for his maiden professional championship, took control to push for a third set.
He defended 4 early-game break points in a competitive third set before the Russian won the break to fifteen to serve for the match.
Appropriately, Medvedev earned the title with a shot at the net area, with his opponent incapable to control a volley after over two and a half hours.
